Founded by a mother-daughter team with backgrounds in medicine, aesthetics, and wellness, Verity Integrative Aesthetics & Wellness was created to offer a more comprehensive approach to beauty and health. Megan M. Black

A Licensed Aesthetician with a passion for helping others feel confident in their skin through personalized, science-backed care. Her journey into asethetics began after more than a decade in sales, marketing, and the wellness industry, where she developed a deep appreciation for client relationships, education, and helping people become the best version of themselves.

After earning her Esthetics license, she joined one of Albuquerque's leading medical, wellness, and bio-hacking spas, where she received extensive hands-on training in advanced skincare, laser technologies, radiofrequency treatments, lymphatic drainage, microneedling, Hydrafacial®, and medical-grade treatment protocols and modalities. Working alongside experienced providers allowed her to develop a strong foundation in clinical aesthetics while caring for hundreds of clients with a wide range of skin concerns. Those experiences reinforced her belief that exceptional results comes from combining precision, continued education, and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual. She remains committed to ongoing advanced education so she can provide every client with the highest standard of care and the most current, science-backed technologies available.

In 2024, she founded Black Diamond Aesthetics with a vision of creating a luxury aesthetic experience centered around integrity, education, and meaningful results. Today, that vision has grown into Verity Integrative Aesthetics & Wellness, where she proudly partners with her mother, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, to offer a truly comprehensive approach to beauty and wellness. Together, they combine advanced aesthetic treatments with medical expertise and whole-body wellness, helping patients look their best, feel their best, and age confidently from the inside out.

Outside of the treatment room, she is a proud wife to a military veteran and a mother of four. Those roles have shaped her values of compassion, resilience, and service, and they inspire the personalized care she strives to provide every patient who trusts her with their journey.

Melissa T. Torres

A Doctorate-prepared Nurse Practitioner with more than 34 years of healthcare experience and over a decade in advanced practice. Her career spans surgical specialties, women's health, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, and aesthetic medicine.

Following advanced surgical fellowship training, Dr. Torres developed a deep appreciation for anatomy, aging, and the connection between health and appearance. Today, she combines her expertise in menopause care, hormone optimization, and healthy aging with advanced aesthetic training in injectables, regenerative medicine, laser therapies, and collagen-stimulating treatments.

Her current aesthetic focus includes neuromodulators, lip enhancement, cheek restoration, skin rejuvenation, and non-surgical approaches to healthy aging. She continues to pursue advanced education in facial anatomy and aesthetic medicine to ensure the highest level of safety and patient care.

Her philosophy is simple: patients deserve care that addresses both how they feel and how they see themselves. By blending medical expertise with aesthetic artistry, Dr. Torres helps patients achieve natural, confident results while supporting long-term health and wellness.

Outside of the treatment room, Melissa has been blessed to share nearly 35 years of marriage with her husband, Michael, and considers her greatest accomplishments to be her faith and her family. She believes in living with God first, family second, and career third—a perspective that shapes both her life and the compassionate care she provides. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, baking sourdough, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
